Jude Bellingham, a forward for Real Madrid, has been suspended for two matches for yelling at the referee during the team’s match against Valencia.

When the final whistle blew on Saturday, March 2, 2024, referee Gil Manzano neglected to award the goal, leaving the England star incensed. Bellingham claims that the whistle went off while the ball was still in the air and that the goal was meant to be declared.

In his formal referee report, Manzano stated that Bellingham “ran at me in an aggressive attitude and yelled, repeating various times, ‘It’s f**king goal!’” as the reason he had given the red card.
