In an effort to beat the Guinness World Records for the longest cook-a-thon, a Nigerian chef Beauty obasuyi is still in the kitchen 368 hours later.

Entering her 368th hour of nonstop cooking in her attempt to shatter the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon, Nigerian-Canadian chef Beauty Obasuyi has exceeded all expectations.

Chef Beauty set out on the adventure on January 10, 2024, with the original plan to cook for eight days. She has, however, made the decision to prolong her cooking marathon by an extra 10 days, driven by her enthusiasm and tenacity. Her goal is to cook nonstop for a whopping 432 hours over the course of 18 days.

The previous record of 227 hours set by Chef Failatu has already been beaten by Chef Beauty. Speaking on Showbiz 360 on TV3, Chef Failatu accepted this audacious dare with a smile, saying, “Nobody can scare us.” I would go ahead and reapply, giving them a million days or so.”

Chef Failatu set out to shatter Irish chef Alan Fisher’s record of 119 hours when she wrapped up her own 10-day cook-a-thon in Tamale, Ghana.

With the help of her helper, Chef Malik Eric, Failatu completed an astounding 227 hours, demonstrating her undying dedication to her work.

Chef Failatu was eager to continue her culinary marathon, but she was unable to do so due to a medical directive from her team.

As Chef Beauty Obasuyi continues to push the limits of culinary endurance, the entire globe is buzzing with expectation, waiting to see whether she can break the incredible 18-day cooking record.
