Following the numerous debates about Ghanaian musicians’ inability to win at the prestigious Grammy Awards, Black Sherif has revealed that he is not eager to win from the prestigious platform.
In an interview with PulseGhana, sensational drill/trap singer Ishmail Mohammed Sherif stated that winning from the Recording Academy does not bother him because he is still young in the music industry.
Black Sherif revealed that his main focus in life right now is his music craft and brand, rather than achieving global prominence through recognition on large platforms.
“I’m a starter, I’m not anxious to get to the Grammys. Right now my main focus is on me and my music, I’m not focusing on that”, he said.
However, Black Sherif stated that while he would be grateful if he received recognition or accolades from the recording academy, his main goal in his music career is not to achieve such prominence.
