The issue surrounding Meek Mill’s music video filming inside Ghana’s Presidential Palace, the Jubilee House in Accra, has been addressed by actress and film producer Ama K. Abebrese of Ghana.
The rapper uploaded a short teaser of himself exploring the Jubilee House and rapping to new song lyrics on his Instagram profile on Sunday night.
Ghanaians expressed their displeasure with the President for allowing Meek Mill to shoot in the Jubilee House on social media right away.
Ama K responded to the video by saying that she would love to shoot her upcoming film there as the Jubilee House is accessible to the public and permits commercial video shoots.
“I’m going to ask to film sequences at Jubilee House for my next movie.” I sincerely hope that the Presidency’s office gives consent. Because, she tweeted, “if they don’t…

Ama K also applauded the Ghana Police Department’s efforts to provide her with uniforms and other props whenever she needs them for a film production.
“I’ll give the @GhPoliceService PRO team my praise. They have typically been flexible to productions I’ve worked with if we require uniforms, other gear, or equipment for movie shoots and follow the proper procedure.
I will commend the @GhPoliceService PRO team. Anytime we need uniforms and other apparels and equipment for movie shoots, and follow due process, they have usually been accommodating to productions I’ve worked one.
