Kuami Eugene should take responsibility if her attempt is invalidated, according to Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, who is trying to set a record for the longest singing marathon.
The Ghanaian journalist who is now an entrepreneur said how Kuami Eugene’s sudden entrance at the event center during the singing marathon affected her, despite her adoration for the Highlife singer.

“I’m crushing on Kuami Eugene. When the guy showed up, I lost my lyrics. I told myself that his presence would be an annoyance. It is Kuami Eugene’s record if the Guinness guys do not award it to me.
I told my husband he shouldn’t have been there when he arrived because I know I have a thing for him. She said, laughing, “I just like him, even though I couldn’t remember his lyrics to ‘Asuoden.’” in an interview with Hitz FM.
Afua Asantewaa, who is yet to receive acknowledgment from Guinness World Records for her singathon attempt, discloses that if she gets disqualified, it will be as a result of Ghanaian musician Kuami Eugene, who happens to be her crush. pic.twitter.com/j5b4aOrKtm

Afua Asantewaa Aduonum set off on December 24, 2023, with the goal of breaking the record for the longest singing marathon, which is set to end on December 27, 2023. The previous record was held by Sunil Waghmare, who sang for 105 hours in 2012.
Afua Asantewaa finished her effort on December 29, 2023, setting a new record with an astounding 126 hours and 52 minutes.
She thanked everyone in a Facebook post, writing, “THIS IS WHERE I END MY JOURNEY! 52 minutes and 126 hours. A RECORD WAS BROKEN AND A NEW ONE SET. I have been able to stay on my feet every time and go this long because of your love, dedication, motivation, and prayers. WITHOUT YOU, IT WOULDN’T HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE! Thank you Ghana, thank you everyone!”
