Derrick Sarfo Kantanka, also known as Amerado Burner, a young Ghanaian rapper, has stated that he will be upset if he does not win the Rapper of the Year title in 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

The popular musician revealed this in a recent Hitz FM submission with Andy Dosty, a popular Ghanaian show host.
He stated in his submission:
“When the nominations were released, I assumed I’d be nominated for Album/EP of the Year. But I’m OK now. I believe the Board of Directors is more knowledgeable.

When I wasn’t nominated for Album/EP of the Year, I was disappointed. I’m all right now. I am pleased with my consistency. I always strive to be nominated for Rapper of the Year, and I’ve been nominated twice, in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
Of course, I will be disappointed if I do not win Rapper of the Year. I am a human being. I’ll come back stronger if I lose to Obibini in Rapper of the Year.”
