Sister Derby, a musician from Ghana whose real name is Deborah Vanessa Owusu-Bonsu, has stated that she doesn’t want to pursue a romantic relationship since it would have a bad effect on her life.
She clarified that she usually slows down because of the time and effort she devotes to her relationship. She is therefore happy to lead a single life without the hassles of a love relationship.
Sister Derby said that when her companion does not return the love and care she provides, it has hurt her. She chose to be unmarried and put her own needs first as a result of this disappointment.
Sister Derby went into further detail about her decision to remain unmarried in an interview with Okay FM. She emphasized that she puts a lot of effort into her relationships because of her compassionate and gentle character, which can be emotionally draining.
She expressed her irritation as well when guys take advantage of her goodwill after she has shown them affection and concern.
Sister Derby had previously claimed that her ex-partner, Fella Makafui, had been unfaithful to her while they were dating Medikal. Due to this incident, she now puts her health first.
