Following his recent accomplishment, Rema joined Wizkid and Femi Kuti in making his debut in the Guinness World Book of Records.
Divine Ikubor, better known by his stage name Rema, is a multi-talented and award-winning singer and performer. With the smash hit “Calm Down,” which swept the charts in Nigeria and the rest of the world, Rema made his debut on the Guinness World Book of Records.
The Official MENA (Middle East and North Africa) Chart was first topped by Rema in history. The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) launched the MENA chart, the first regional streaming chart for the Middle East and North Africa, on November 29, 2022.
With “Calm Down,” Rema became the third artist after Wizkid and Femi Kuti to be listed in the Guinness World Book of Records. The song topped the charts for more than two months.
The hit song ‘Calm Down’ is also the highest charting Nigerian song on the billboard hot 100 chart. Rema has big plans for his fans in 2023 with the release of the ultra version of his debut album ‘Rave & Roses’ to the announcement of his iconic 02 Arena concert scheduled for November 2023 to also a secret party for fans.
