The biggest beef in Ghanaian music history is about to occur. Although there are many disputes between rappers in the industry, one that hasn’t yet erupted is between a highlife and a gospel singer.
We are well aware that Great Ampong, a gospel artist, and Daddy Lumba do not get along well since they just had a disagreement. The friendship between the two influential musicians abruptly came to an end.
After the event had ended and Ampong was taking photographs with his followers without his knowledge, the management of Lumba rapidly took away the money they had earned from the release of the song “Hossana,” which caused them to get angry.
In order to release the successful song “Hossana,” Daddy Lumba and Kwadwo Ampong created the group Kojo Kojo in 2016. The two artists had planned to split the proceeds from the song’s release, but Lumba stole the cash instead.
The two have not yet been able to communicate, so they carry out their musical responsibilities alone. It has come to light that Great Ampong entered the recording studio to create a song of derision for Daddy Lumba. The song will be the biggest hit when it is published since it portrays Ampong’s emotions and has significant substance.
Buddy Roro, the sound engineer who worked on this song, teased the fans on social media by dropping a sneak peek in the video that 90bars has access to.
The opening hook of the unreleased song can be heard playing in the background as he is seen smilingly grooving to it.
