The AI assistant can help find lost contact details, company data, summarize emails on specific topics, locate unread messages, or even provide answers from Google search directly in the inbox.

As with the web and Android versions, the Gmail Q&A feature on iOS is available only to Google One AI Premium subscribers or Google Workspace accounts with Gemini Business, Enterprise, Education, or Education Premium add-ons. Google is rolling it out to these users, though it may take a few weeks to fully appear.
