Ghana’s Dancing Pallbearers have vowed to give $250,000 of the earnings from the recently auctioned Coffin Dance meme to Ukraine.
On Saturday, April 9, 3F Music won the bidding round, paying $1,046,079.54 (327.00ETH) for the 10-second meme in one of the historic Non-Fungible Token (NFT) auctions.
This came after the dancing pallbearers crew created the video meme on April 7.
According to Benjamin Aidoo, the head of the pallbearers, the money would be donated to Ukrainian charities to assist alleviate the hardship caused by the current war with Russia.

Taking to social media, Benjamin Aidoo also congratulated the Dubai-based music production company on winning the bid.
The Foundation, Come Back Alive, is said to receive a donation from the Ghanaian group.

In addition, the Foundation committed in a tweet to make wise use of the financial help that is coming it’s way.
In 2020, a group of young guys transformed funerals into quite heartfelt transitions.
Videos of the guys exhibiting their coffin-carrying abilities went viral, with the men organizing a choreographed performance, raising and lowering the casket, and even sitting on the floor if necessary.
The offer of $1,046,079.54 ranks the meme among the most lucrative NFTs that have reached the million-dollar mark worldwide.
