The 42-year-old has admitted that he moved to the UK on multiple times. After sharing his account of surviving in the UK, he disclosed his interest in trading. He was using his car’s trunk to operate a boutique, according to Cheddar.
“I was living in England and I was sent there to go to college and I was selling fake Versace and YSL shirts in the back of my 205 GTI which I bought for 499 pounds,” he told Samuel Leeds, a YouTuber.
“My capital when I was going to London was 6000 dollars,” he went on. I was laughing in my brain as my mother, brothers, and everyone else gave me 130 pounds, which they all felt was a lot of money for me.I vividly recall that it was in 1994 when I purchased a Panasonic chip phone, making me feel like the new kid on the block. Later on, I got to know Johnny Prescott, who was a salesman for shirts and jeans.”
“I only intended to purchase one pair of pants and one pair of shit, but upon seeing the prices—20 and 30 pounds—I made him an offer of 20 pounds and 15 pounds for the shirt, which I then placed at the rear of my boot and sold for 50 and 40 pounds. I began earning money from the boot, but since I already knew what business was, I ended up on the streets.” Cheddar revealed.
3. Theft and selling steels in the UK
The presidential candidate opened up further about his struggles to make ends meet, saying that living on the streets at one time caused his hands to go dirty.
“In fact my biggest opportunity came from a guy who clamped my car, he was a security guy in my school and I paid him 45 pounds to release the clamp then he did it again for the second time then I said, hey Mark, I am going to show you that I am bad guy,” he stated.
As he related the incident again, he went on, “I deflated my tire, took the clamp, took the clamp, put it in the car saying that you will come and look for me this time so I took the clamp away.” Petersmith, my best friend at the time, was a blacksmith, so I went to see him and told him what I had done. I told him I had stolen a clamp, and he looked at it, weighed it, and said he would give me 65 quid.
“So that was the beginning of my new business,” he went on. I was now purchasing clamps to resell. The man who had so much steel that one day he said, “I don’t want to sell these things anymore; this is the guy that buys from me; it’s a scrap yard,” is what introduced me to steel. When I went to the man, he told me that “any scrap that is metal that I buy is not clamps, it’s steel.”
