Fave releases “Belong to you,” a new song.

Belong to You is the next track from Afrobeat artist Fave.

‘Belong to You’ is a new song by Nigerian artist Chidozie Godsfavour Ugochinyere, better known by his stage name Fave. The lyrical performer revealed on social media that January 25, 2023, would mark the release of her new song. The caption for the song, “My R&B Drill Record ‘BELONG TO YOU’ 25/01/2024 10pm,” said, “My rnb drill record.”

Fave, who is renowned for her beautiful and soulful vocal range, has mesmerized the crowd once more. The song perfectly combines an upbeat pace with Fave’s melodic vocals to create a romantic and heartfelt atmosphere.

The sensitive performer had a difficult start to the year. When Davido didn’t include Fave in their joint song, Kante, during the 2023 Greater Lagos Fiesta, she expressed her disappointment. A mix of Davido’s well-known songs, such as Feel and Over Dem, as well as Kante, a song from his Timeless album starring Fave, were played for the audience by the featured artist.

Fave took to social media to vent her disappointment, revealing that although she was present backstage with Davido, she had not received an invitation to perform with him on their joint song. Davido’s decision to play a modified version of Kante without her verse startled her.

Fave expressed optimism in spite of the setback, saying that performing alongside Davido would have been a great way to start the year.
