Efya explains why she hasn’t released a single in over a year.

Janet Awindor, better known as Efya, a celebrated Ghanaian singer, has explained why she hasn’t released a single song in over a year and a half.
During a Twitter Space conversation, the songstress revealed that she has not slowed down her music and that she is preparing to take over the music scene with more hit songs.

According to her, she has done numerous collaborations with other musicians as well as played at 25 shows just last year, so she has not stopped making music but is preparing to take more control.

“It’s not as if I’ve slowed down… I haven’t released music in over a year and a half, but I’ve done over 30 collaborations in that time. I performed at over 25 shows last year. “The work continues,” she said.

Efya went on to say that her previous accomplishments do not mean she is retiring from music, but rather that she is preparing to return even stronger than before.
