Ghanaian actress and socialite Efia Odo has sparked online discussions after publicly seeking forgiveness from Evangelist Patricia Asiedu, also known as Agradaa, during a church service.
The unexpected moment took place on Sunday, March 9, 2025, when Efia Odo was seen kneeling before Agradaa in front of a live congregation. She expressed regret over comments made in a previous episode of her podcast, Rants, Bants, and Confessions.
Efia admitted that a particular episode featuring the outspoken Counsellor George Lutterodt included discussions that went too far, particularly regarding Agradaa and allegations of money rituals.
“During that episode, Counsellor Lutterodt made strong claims about her past and alleged money rituals. I realised it was inappropriate, and I felt the need to apologise,” Efia explained.
The controversy began when Counsellor Lutterodt, in the second episode of the podcast, questioned the legitimacy of Agradaa’s transition from a former fetish priestess to a church leader. He criticized her ministry and marriage to her junior pastor, Angel Asiamah, calling them questionable.
“How does someone go from idol worship to suddenly becoming a prophetess? And what about marrying your junior pastor? There are too many unanswered questions,” Lutterodt remarked on the show.
