Gospel icon Diana Asamoah stirs conversations as she unveils her unique self-care routine and ambitious plans for an English gospel album.
Renowned Ghanaian gospel singer Evangelist Diana Asamoah, known for her timeless gospel hits, recently made headlines with an unexpected revelation during a radio interview. The singer disclosed, “Since birth, I have never bathed twice in one day,” sparking intrigue and debate among fans and critics alike.
While twice-daily bathing is common in Africa due to the hot climate and demanding routines, Asamoah shared her preference for a once-daily regimen. She explained that despite this unconventional habit, her skin remains glowing and healthy. She stated, “If I bathed twice daily, Ghanaians wouldn’t see my true complexion. I’ve never done it, and I say this to glorify God. I can’t preach what I don’t practice. Even on days when I don’t work early, I might skip bathing altogether until the next day.”
Her comments have fueled discussions about hygiene norms, with some dermatologists noting that over-bathing can strip the skin of essential moisture.
In addition to her surprising confession, the “Ma Bo Wo Din” singer has announced an exciting new project: an English-language gospel album titled Stepping Stone. This marks a significant shift from her signature Twi-language songs. Asamoah has encouraged her fans to brush up on their English skills in preparation for the release.
Diana Asamoah’s unapologetic personality and unconventional choices continue to keep her at the center of attention, solidifying her reputation as a standout figure in Ghana’s gospel music scene.
