While we haven’t yet seen the full scope o fDC Studios’ projects under the leadership of James Gunn and Peter Safran, the company has announced another major film centered around Gotham’s heroes.
Last night, Gunn, who just finished filming his Superman reboot starring David Corenswet, revealed on his X account that DC Studios is teaming up with New Orleans-based studio Swaybox to produce Dynamic Duo.
The animated movie, written by Matthew Aldrich (Coco, Lightyear) and directed by Swaybox cofounder Arthur Mintz, will explore the early days of Dick Grayson and Jason Todd, two of Batman’s Robins, as vigilantes. Matt Reeves will serve as a producer alongside Swaybox’s Theresa Andersson.

With its unique visual style and focus on the Robins rather than Batman, *Dynamic Duo* has the potential to be a standout for DC Studios, depending on how audiences respond to another DC cinematic universe.
