Ghanaian performer Dancegod Lloyd and his “Dance, Grow, and Live” group are facing legal action from a talent management company for allegedly breaking a GHe30,000 contract.
A contract was formed on September 23, 2023, between Fulan-Turkso Enterprise and Dancegod, to promote a song by Chilly Way, an artist under Fulan-Turkso, via the dance crew’s social media channels. This is according to the action filed by the company in Madina District Court.
“According to the plaintiff, the defendants are dancers who support music. The plaintiffs hired the defendants on September 23, 2023, to use traditional and social media to advertise an artist under the plaintiff’s management.
The plaintiff and defendants executed a contract to that effect, with consideration given to the defendant.
The plaintiff included the following in part of their case description: “(A copy of the contract is attached as Exhibit A).”
The plaintiff brought legal action against the defendant because of their persistent breach of their agreement.
Because of the plaintiff’s alleged breach of the agreement, the original scheduled date had to be extended.
