Chris Brown, an award-winning musician, and entertainer turned to social media to respond to those who continue to talk about his 2009 assault on Rihanna. Although they were still in a relationship, the singer attacked Rihanna in 2009.
Several people were astonished when it was reported that the singer had hit Rihanna after she found he had cheated on her. Chris Brown addressed the fact that many still hate him over the event in his Instagram story on Friday, February 17, 2023. This was in response to the harsh criticism directed towards Chloe Bailey after she revealed an impending collaboration with the musician.
Chris Brown called out the cancel culture against him and went on to name other superstars who had done the same sins as him but were not canceled, in his words.
“If y’all still hate me for a mistake I made as a 17-year-old please kiss my whole entire a–, “I’m f—ing 33 I’m so tired of y’all running with this narrative… you weird a– n—-s are the same ones that tune in every week to see Blueface and Chrisean beat the f— out of each other in front of the world. “No more fake love from me… stay out my way or get ran over, simple as that,” Brown concluded. “None of you and I mean none of you n—-s can f— wit me.
Fans reacted angrily to the singer, who was recently accused of domestic abuse in 2020 and whose previous girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, had also obtained a restraining order against him in 2017 for being abusive.
