Chelsea Football Club has announced three extra players who have been granted permission by UEFA to join the team ahead of the Champions League.
UEFA allows each club to add three players from their most recent January additions to their existing Champions League roster. During the winter transfer window, the Blues signed eight players, two of whom are automatically ruled out.
Potter has opted to name these three players from the remaining six available. Joao Felix, Enzo Fernandez, and Mkyhailo Mudrky are the three players on the squad.
On Friday, February 3rd, 2023, the news was posted on Chelsea’s official website. On Tuesday, February 14th, 2023, Chelsea will play Borrusia Dortmund in the opening leg of the second round at Signa Iduna Park.
