The fact that Cardi B and Offset, a well-known rap duo, spent New Year’s Eve together generated conversation about their romance.
Fans caught them celebrating at a Miami bar, despite their claims to have broken up in December.
On Tuesday, January 2, 2024, Cardi B used social media to address the rumors. She did this by using a brief livestream on X, which was once known as Twitter.
She acknowledged that she didn’t think their relationship was entirely resolved as she spoke about their New Year’s party. Cardi B stated that for things to improve, they must first address their own difficulties as well as any shared concerns.
She started the live chat by talking about the widely shared video of her dancing with her husband, Offset, from 2017. “I just wanted you to hear it straight from the source because I know you guys are making assumptions. I just wanted to be clear with you guys.” Was yesterday the night I went out with my baby father? Indeed. Was I able to get down yesterday? Sure, sweetie.
Cardi B gave an explanation of their decision to celebrate as a group. She added that after doing separate performances at various local venues, they were both at the same club in Miami. She was in her space and he was in his, so it seemed a little strange.
“We were in the same club, and it was just really awkward,” she said. Like, he’s in his sector, me in mine.” It’s like, “Dude, come on over here.” Let’s relax. We’re enjoying ourselves,” she said.
Essentially, even though Cardi B and Offset celebrated the new year together, the Grammy winner made it apparent that their reconciliation depends on resolving their individual and common issues.
