Currently, in East Africa, Camidoh is kicking off his media tour across Africa in support of his most recent EP, “A.L.T.I.N.E.”
The Ghanaian afrobeat musician arrived in Uganda this week, where he spoke with a number of illustrious media outlets, including NBS TV Uganda and NRG Radio Uganda, about his career and love of music while also releasing some brand-new songs off his “A Life Time Is Not Enough” EP.
He had previously visited Kenya, where he gave some of the top figures in the sector, such as Soundcity Radio Kenya, Capital FM Kenya, and Pulse Kenya, his predictions for the year. Camidoh is expected to end off his media engagements and activations around East Africa in Tanzania later this month.
A video for “Adoley,” the second song on Camidoh’s “A Lifetime Is Not Enough” EP, has been made available. The video, which was directed by Ghana’s best filmmaker, REX, has a touch of urban and native Ghanaian and Nigerian street vibes, which gives it an overall universal appeal.
After achieving commercial success with his 2020 Contingency Plan, the Ghanaian native’s official sophomore studio album, A Life Time Is Not Enough, was released in January of this year. Six tracks make up the new EP, which also includes guest appearances from Ghanaian singer-songwriter Cina Soul. Since its debut, the album has received praise from music reviewers, industry insiders, and writers, and it is now receiving a ton of radio around the nation.
