The Grammy-winning group delivered an electrifying performance during the 2023 NBA All-Star Game halftime show.
Burna Boy, a renowned singer, songwriter, and performer from Nigeria, has discussed what it was like to perform at the 2023 NBA Halftime Show.
The NBA All-Star Game, which was held in Salt Lake City, Utah, on February 20, 2023, was intended to include a competitive game between Team Lebron and Team Giannis, the top basketball players from the two conferences, in order to raise money for charity.
Aside from athletics, the night’s musical performances featured Nigerian worldwide superstars Burna Boy, Rema, and Tems in an Afrobeats-themed performance.
Burna Boy, a Grammy Award winner, opened the show with an exceptionally spectacular performance of “Anyone,” backed by his consistently excellent Outsiders Band, and was introduced by Cameroonian star Pascal Siakam of the Toronto Raptors. After performing “It’s Plenty” and “Ye,” the African Giant concluded with his well-known “Final Last.”
The singer revealed in an interview that he had always wanted to play in the NBA. As a result, being in that environment as an artist is wonderful because he made it to the NBA either way.
