The Foundry 2022 class will include Ghanaian star Black Sherif, also known as Killer Blacko, according to a YouTube announcement.
Sherif enrolls in the same class as rising Nigerian sensation Joeboy of Baby fame.
The tweet from Google in Africa’s Twitter account congratulated the two rising stars on their acceptance into the program.

The Foundry 2022 initiative is YouTube Music’s international artist development program that supports the independent music industry and gives musicians access to tools that will help them succeed on YouTube and forge successful independent careers.
The concept was introduced in 2015 by the Google-owned business.
