Ayra Starr was one of the headlining afrobeats artists during the two-day music event.
Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, also known as Ayra Starr, a Nigerian outstanding singer and performer, has attacked Afrochella organizers when she tripped and fell on stage during the 2022 event.
The event, characterized as a celebration of Africa’s unique culture and the lively work of African creatives and businesses, included a two-day concert on December 28th and 29th.
With Burna Boy, Stonebwoy, Asake, Fireboy DML, Kwesi Arthur, Gyakie, and a slew of other heavyweights scheduled to play, Mavin star girl and diva, Ayra Starr, was also in the mix and delivered a calming performance on the first day of the two-day event.
However, when performing her label’s popular single “Won Da Mo,” the attractive Ayra Starr fell uncomfortably on stage but swiftly climbed back up.
Ayra took to social media after her performance to criticize the show’s organizers for failing to clean the stage before her performance. She described the fall as painful and pointless, writing:
Afrochella You should clean your stage after every artist performance, because that fall was both pointless and terrible.
