At Apple’s Monday event, the 10th version of the Apple Watch was unveiled, featuring a 40 percent brighter wide-angle OLED display that’s larger than the one on the Apple Watch Ultra.
This marks nearly a decade of incremental improvements for Apple’s smartwatch, which initially launched as a fashion accessory and iPhone companion but has since evolved into an essential health and fitness tool thanks to hardware enhancements and new watchOS features.
Before that, the Apple Watch Series 8 brought temperature sensors for better health tracking, along with Crash Detection. It was launched alongside the Apple Watch Ultra, which had a bigger screen, extra buttons, and a tougher design to rival outdoor-focused products from brands like Garmin and Suunto.
