Following his current predicament, Ghanaian award-winning dancehall musician Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., also known as Shatta Wale, has set a price for any media outlet that wishes to conduct an interview with him.
Shatta Wale was arrested a few days ago after faking a gun attack on himself in response to a prophecy made by a man of God named Jesus Ahuofe. Shatta Wale staged a publicity stunt with three of his crew members, his publicist, and two other members.

He was arrested shortly after and was arraigned in court for causing fear and panic with his bogus gun attack. The Accra Circuit Court remanded him into police custody for a week at the Ankaful maximum prison in the Central Region. Shatta Wale and his three crew members were later granted bail in the amount of GHc100,000 each.

Most media outlets would like to have him in their studios to talk about his ‘fake’ gun attack and his time in jail. Shatta Wale has stated that he will not give an interview to any media outlet.
He is, however, willing to do so if the media outlet is willing to pay him $100,000 for an hour-long interview.
He posted on Facebook, “Mek I do interview for what?” If you want to know how much an hour of my time costs, Abi, SO PAY
