Danita Akosua Adomaah Yeboah, also known as Afronitaa, was a former member of Dance With Purpose (DWP) Academy. She has stated her dissatisfaction with her departure from the dance company.
Speaking about her experience since leaving the DWP, Afronitaa noted that making the difficult decision to explore other endeavors was necessary.
She claimed that leaving to continue her exploration was part of God’s plan in an interview with Joy Prime.
It goes without saying that I wasn’t happy, but I do trust in God and His will. I therefore understood that it was God’s will for me. She said, “I had to accept it whether I liked it or not, even if I wasn’t happy.
Afronitaa left DWP earlier this year to pursue a solo dance career.
“We are pleased to report that our beloved Danita Akosua Adomaah Yeboah (Afronitaa) has advanced as a self-sufficient brand.
Although it was difficult to see Afronitaa go, the statement noted that her decision was in keeping with Dance With A Purpose Academy’s goal of developing brands out of all the young, talented people who join the family.
Afronitaa, along with Abigail, who gained notoriety from TV3 Talented Kids, had an audition for Britain’s Got Talent on Friday, February 9, a few weeks after departing from the group.
The pair is set to appear in the most recent season of the well-known talent competition.
The dancers impressed the judges and passed the audition by showcasing their extraordinary dancing abilities and representing Ghana with pride.
Afrostar Kids Academy will be Afronitaa’s own children’s dance academy, which she is currently working toward creating.
She has encouraged parents who are interested in enrolling their children to do so so that they can be nurtured. The academy is scheduled to open on April 14.
