Highlife and Afrosound phenomenon Akwaboah is ready to release a particularly themed song for Team Ghana in support of the Black Stars ahead of Ghana’s participation in the FIFA Qatar 2022 World Cup.
The song, “Bring Back the Love,” aims to rally football supporters around the world in support of Ghana’s fourth appearance at the FIFA World Cup in 2022. It is based on nostalgia, love, and affection, and the rhythmic tunes will undoubtedly rally many supporters behind Team Ghana.
Fans have already gotten a 15-second preview of the song ahead of its digital release on Friday, September 16th, 2022, and if that is any indication, this song will undoubtedly be a fan favorite ahead of the World Cup.
Some celebrities, such Kofi Kinaata and Fameye, have already taken to social media to express their support for “Bring back the love,” which has sparked a trend in which people share videos of themselves performing football skills with the hashtag #bringbackthelove.

Gladstorm is a highlife sensation. Kwabena Akwaboah Jr, better known as Akwaboah, is a Ghanaian singer-songwriter, producer, and performer. He is the son of late Highlife musician Kwadwo Akwaboah and the grandson of late Highlife musician Kwabena Akwaboah.
Akwaboah is a phenomenal pianist who notably began writing songs at the age of ten and has worked as a Producer, Writer, or Sound Engineer with many well-known acts like as Hugh Masekela, Sarkodie, Becca, Efya, and many others.
