After undergoing plastic surgery to look like Jimin from BTS for an upcoming drama, a Canadian actor is in critical condition.

Saint Von Colucci, a 22-year-old Canadian actor, musician, and composer, was brought to Seoul’s National Hospital early on Friday owing to difficulties from his prior plastic procedures there.

In the past several months, the actor underwent twelve reconstructive operations in order to portray a KPOP idol role in a forthcoming Korean drama. Jimin, a Korean vocalist from the Korean band BTS, was intended to be the inspiration for the character’s appearance.
The actor has always been self-conscious about his appearance in Korea and that his Western characteristics have been severely discriminated against, so when he was cast as a KPOP idol in the drama, he and the show’s director decided that the procedures would be a suitable fit. The actor incurred surgical costs of over USD $200k.

He received a facelift, lip reduction, buccal fat removal, eye lift, and jaw surgery, among other procedures.
At the age of 19, the actor initially relocated to South Korea after succeeding in an audition in Toronto, Canada, to work as a trainee at one of the country’s leading music entertainment companies.
Once in South Korea, the actor began doing odd jobs and penning songs for other KPOP artists and groups to supplement his income because the monthly stipend provided by his entertainment agency was insufficient to pay for his essential monthly needs.

The musician is the middle child of Canadian-Brazilian former model Adriana Lima and Geovani Lamas, CEO of IBG Capital, one of the largest hedge fund companies in Europe.
Colucci will have a few operations in the next few days while he is now unconscious at the National Hospital.
