Afronitaaa left DWP Academy; a statement explains that it was “a difficult choice.”

Afronita, a well-known dancer from Ghana, Danita Akosua Adomaah Yeboah, has left the DWP Academy.

The Dance Academy that Afronita was a member of, dancing With Purpose Academy, confirmed her resignation in a press release following weeks of speculation.

The group claims that deciding to let Afronita go has not been easy. “We’re pleased to share the news that our beloved Danita Akosua Adomaah Yeboah (Afronitaaa) has developed into a successful independent brand.

Although letting Afronitaaa depart was a difficult decision, her action was in keeping with Dance With A Purpose (DWP) Academy’s goal of developing brands out of all the young, talented individuals who join the family.”

Afronitaaa is a young Ghanaian dancer who hasn’t made any public comments about her departure from the group, thus it’s unknown what exactly made her quit.

DWP hired Afronitaaa in 2018 when she was 14 years old. Many people admire her for her ability to skillfully blend dance and education. We’ve all seen firsthand the amazing change DWP’s life and career have undergone in recent years.

She and the other incredibly gifted members of the DWP family have transformed the perception of professional dancing in Ghana and around the world. The action taken by Afronitaaa is not the first and most likely won’t be the last. This kind of opportunity does, in fact, validate our motto, “Find Your Purpose and Live it.”

DWP is dedicated to finding talent, developing it, and creating brands and personalities that are powerful enough to succeed both separately and collectively. Our commitment to upholding the fundamental principles of our family—honesty, respect, compassion, and responsibility—will not waver.
