Wizkid and Davido, along with other new performers like Little Simz, Popcaan, and Focalistic, will headline the main stage at Afro Nation Portugal 2023. They will join the largest Afrobeats and Amapaino lineup in the world this summer.

Afro Nation, which will take place on the lovely Portimao beach from June 28 to 30, already has a star-studded line-up that includes, to name a few, Burna Boy, 50 Cent, Booba, Aya Nakamura, Fireboy DML, Asake, Arya Starr, Black Sherif, Oxlade, Dadju, and Ms. Banks. The Star Boy himself has rejoined the group at this point. Wizkid, a multi-platinum-selling international superstar with a Grammy to his name, will perform a plethora of hits at Afro Nation Portugal with his silky voice and addictive beats.

Wizkid recently joined Burna Boy, another Afro Nation 2023 headlining act, to become the first African artist to headline UK Stadium shows in 2023.

Meanwhile, Davido, who is renowned for his contagious hooks and contagious onstage energy, has established himself as one of the most innovative and exciting musicians working in Nigeria. Simz has been winning awards left and right lately for her constant bravery and provocativeness, and her upcoming Afro Nation debut is another moment to cherish. The iconic dancehall legend Popcaan will also be pulling up to Portugal this summer to heat things up with his most sizzling anthems like ‘Only Man She Wants ‘, ‘Party Shot’, and ‘When You Wine Like That’.

That’s not all, either. In light of his headline performance in London at the beginning of this month, Focalistic, another of Amapiano’s finest, has been named as a leading name on this year’s Piano People stage. Along with a host of other South African celebrities, including previously announced headliners Scorpion Kings, Major League DJz, and Uncle Waffles, as well as a host of DJs and artists responsible for some of the most exciting music around right now, Kamo Mphela, Felo a Tee, Sir Trill, and Skyla Tylaa will also be performing. This June, powerful Musa Keys, well-known singer Young Stunna, renowned genre queen DBN Gogo, trailblazer Vigro Deep, “future ghetto punk” superstar Moonchild Sanelly, and many others will bring the heat and stir up the sand with all the newest moves.

The day splits for Afro Nation Portugal 2023 have also been revealed today. The show will begin on June 28 with performances by Burna Boy, Aya Nakamura, and Popcaan; on June 29, Wizkid, Little Simz, and Asake will take the stage; and on June 30, 50 Cent, Davido, Booba, and Fireboy DML will light up the night with fireworks.
