Ball J, Ghanaian rapper, has confirmed he will release his ‘Papa No’ album given the threats he gets from unknown men.
He noted that he was told by one of the anonymous callers not to release the album because it’s a political album but he doesn’t matter he’s going to drop it.
Ball J explained he recorded the song long before these ‘Papa No’ issues started trending this year in December 2019.
He twitted
‘I posted a song I labeled “Papa No Nie” about Dahill and Hxncho a year ago. I wanted to feature @AmgMedikal and @kwawkese on that remark to drive it up this year but corona came up and messed up stuff. I got an anonymous call from an outsider early this morning, advising me not to release the song because they think the song is political. I want to use this forum to make it clear to every political party that my song is not a political one, Medikal to Kwaw Kese recorded their part last December even before this “Papa No” problem f*ck your dumb threats! Anyway I’m going to release the album. WATTER!!
