M3nsa, a singer from Ghana, responded to the news that an Okada rider had been sentenced to 15 years in prison.
After pleading guilty to robbing a bystander of his iPhone in front of the Police CID Headquarters, 21-year-old Emmanuel Waki received a 15-year jail term.
The Inspector General of Police and his bodyguards reportedly observed the event on December 19 of last year as they were leaving their regular observational duties.
When Salifu Alhaji, another Okada rider, was apprehended after leading the police on a hard pursuit of Emmanuel Waki, commonly known as Pocket, Waki was eventually taken into custody in Old Fadama.
The FOKN Bois member lamented the social neglects that may have propelled 21-year-old Emmanuel into robbery on Twitter in addition to his punishment from a different organization that he believes to be corrupt.
“People are starving, famished, and in need. The root of the problem is still present even when minor offenses are committed in front of more corrupt organisations and persons. 15 years, for what? to further devastate his life? Humans are rubbish, he wrote on Twitter.

People are poor, and hungry, and desperate. Committing petty crimes in front of even more corrupt institutions and personnel doesn’t change the core of the issue. 15yrs for what? To destroy his life even further? Human beings we be trash waaaa
