According to Sally, their opposition to the “On God” singer stemmed from what she described as his disrespect towards Ghanaian media figures. “We held meetings to push Stonebwoy toward Grammy success. Our agenda was clear: we support you (Stonebwoy) because Shatta Wale disrespects traditional media. But now, you (Stonebwoy) are straying from the plan by responding to him. Why engage with him?” she stated.
“The aim was to bring you to the Grammys, while his (Shatta Wale’s) career would be over—he’s now a ‘pensioner.’ Look at your achievements over the past three years, especially with your ‘5th Dimension’ album. But now you’re complicating things for us. Don’t become Shatta Wale’s puppet,” she added.

“As someone thoughtful, you should realize that your fan base alone isn’t enough to secure a Grammy. If Skrewfaze joins a track, he can bring his fans along too. You talk too much; PR isn’t for everyone. Stop trying to do the work of a PR expert—that’s why you have a team to handle it,” she advised.

Sally’s remarks come after Stonebwoy stated that a remix of his song Jejereje with hiplife artist Skrewfaze wouldn’t be commercially advantageous for him.
