Ghanaians are optimistic as the 2023 Grammy Award nominees are about to be revealed.

Ghanaian music talents and admirers are hoping for a potential nod in the coveted ward as fans get ready for the Grammy Awards 2023 nomination announcement.

We might just see some excellent Ghanaian singers receive nominations given how far African and Ghanaian music have developed.

Given the Grammy Awards’ eligibility period and the high caliber Ghanaian productions that have been created, it seems likely that these projects will be nominated for the prestigious honor.

On November 15, 2022, the complete list of nominees will be revealed, according to the recording academy.

What time frame are the Grammy Awards eligible?

The recording academy has confirmed that the eligibility for the 2023 Grammy Awards is from October 1, 2021, through September 30, 2022, meaning that all qualifying projects must be released during this time.

The Grammy Award is a program that honors and recognizes musicians from all over the world for their accomplishments and services to the arts community. A gilded gramophone is pictured on the trophy.

Ghanaians are betting on some new sensational singers to gain a nomination and potentially bring the grand prize home, much like their forerunners have done, as we await the nominations list tomorrow. There are several potential Ghanaian artists who are destined to reach the Grammy award’s doorsteps.

On Tuesday, November 15, at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET, the Recording Academy will make the announcement of the nominees for the 65th Annual Grammy Awards live from the Grammy Museum at L.A. Live in Los Angeles and as part of Latin Grammy Week. The ceremony will be broadcast live on live.Grammy.com as well as the Academy’s social media outlets on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.

The crowd rapidly caught up to the enthusiasm of Stonebwoy’s thrilling performance, especially the GRAMMY Awards CEO, who was visibly cheering him throughout the whole set.

During the brief meeting, which was intended to garner support for the Ghanaian music business, Stonebwoy and Harvey Mason Jr. had a fruitful discussion on how to plan to get Ghanaian singers to the Grammys. On Friday, Stonebwoy posted pictures from the gathering on his social media accounts (September 30).

 

 

Stonebwoy accepted the invitation from the Recording Academy and was welcomed as a member of the GRAMMYS 2021 New Member Class in June 2021. He had the chance to honor, uphold, and support music and its artists through membership. Prior to that, he received a GRAMMY certificate in September 2020 in honor of his involvement as a featured artist on Morgan Heritage’s GRAMMY-nominated album “AVRAKEDABRA.”
